Come and Gone

When you return to the Lake Michigan beaches of Northern Michigan each summer - you begin to notice the constant shifts of the shoreline. The ebbs and flows of the water levels changing year after year. Always different, but always somehow exactly the same as well. As the lake stands up the the changes humans inflict - pollution, construction, climate changes - adapting, and reclaiming what was once hers. Keeping us grounded with her peaceful, resilient power.
