Blue Rhubarb

The original rhubarb plants that inspired these pieces were given to me by my aunt, and they flourished in the sandy soil of the Michigan coast. My aunt went to the University of Chicago at a time when women were not expected to flourish in academic settings. These pieces are beautiful, complicated, and completely unique, as was my aunt.
